I had an amazing stay! The food was out of this world, especially the chicken Kiev—simply the best! The outdoor area with fire pits was perfect for a cozy evening.

During my stay, I enjoyed the atmosphere and warm welcome from the staff. The restaurant's menu had several options accommodating various dietary needs, which was helpful. I liked that the room had a patio for some fresh air.

I found the service a bit slow at the coffee shop area despite there being no other customers. It made for a less relaxed experience.

We had a lovely night in a stunning old building. The breakfast was a total winner, especially the perfectly fried eggs! The staff were super chill about our late checkout. Only bummer was the bed could’ve been a bit comfier. The bar area was nice, too!

I spent one night in a spacious Deluxe Single Room. The area outside was fantastic for relaxing, and the food was delicious—highly recommend the haddock and chips!

The bed featured wonderfully soft pillows, making for an exceptional comfort level, and the bar created a cozy atmosphere for unwinding in the evening. Although a late check-in at 4 PM felt inconvenient, staff were accommodating enough to allow a 3 PM arrival. The breakfast was excellent, with freshly cooked dishes that provided a great start to the day. the location's centrality could lead to some noise during busier periods.

Breakfast was a highlight, featuring fresh local produce that set me up perfectly for the day. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Kirkcudbright, making it easy to explore the area. I did wish the dinner last orders were a bit later, as I felt rushed at times.
