I had an amazing stay! The food was out of this world, especially the chicken Kiev—simply the best! The outdoor area with fire pits was perfect for a cozy evening.

During my stay, I enjoyed the atmosphere and warm welcome from the staff. The restaurant's menu had several options accommodating various dietary needs, which was helpful. I liked that the room had a patio for some fresh air.
I found the service a bit slow at the coffee shop area despite there being no other customers. It made for a less relaxed experience.

Had a great time with friends visiting local attractions and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The staff were friendly and helpful, making breakfast early for us. The dinner was tasty, and we especially loved the full Scottish breakfast. it’s a great place to unwind with friends.
The heating wasn't working on our first night, but it was fixed the next day.

Charming stay with great food
We had a lovely night in a stunning old building. The breakfast was a total winner, especially the perfectly fried eggs! The staff were super chill about our late checkout. Only bummer was the bed could’ve been a bit comfier. The bar area was nice, too!

The bed featured wonderfully soft pillows, making for an exceptional comfort level, and the bar created a cozy atmosphere for unwinding in the evening. Although a late check-in at 4 PM felt inconvenient, staff were accommodating enough to allow a 3 PM arrival. The breakfast was excellent, with freshly cooked dishes that provided a great start to the day. the location's centrality could lead to some noise during busier periods.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. Slow service during dinner, especially for our main courses. The location is perfect for walking tours or bike tours around the area. Clean rooms and a lovely garden area to relax in. Would recommend but keep kitchen timing in mind.

Charming stay with a great breakfast!
I had a lovely 2-night stay in a Deluxe King Room. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring fresh local produce that set me up perfectly for the day. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Kirkcudbright, making it easy to explore the area. I did wish the dinner last orders were a bit later, as I felt rushed at times.

A warm welcome set the tone for a pleasant two-night visit. The family room was spacious and cozy. The restaurant provided hearty and excellent meals, complemented by courteous staff, though they tended to linger a bit too much while clearing the table. Breakfast was a delight, with cooked-to-order options, ensuring a fulfilling start to the day.
